Founders’ Day

For those of you that don’t know, I am a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women.  Fun Fact: We were founded in 1867, before the word “sorority” was coined. Today is the day we recognize the 12 founding women who started Pi Beta Phi and I am oh-so-happy they did because I loved my time as a member in undergrad and now as an Alum.  My chapter at NCSU was actually being started my freshman year, so I had the pleasure of being a charter member of NC Delta and served as our very first Vice President of Fraternity Development.

I did some digging and found some pictures from my first year as a college freshman and a brand new baby Angel :) *Angels are our unofficial Fraternity symbol. *

A few of us after NC Delta’s very FIRST function, Semi-Formal, Fall 2004.

First Tailgate of my Sophomore year with my Pi Phis, Fall 2005. It was a devastating last second loss to VA Tech for the season opener. I can still remember the bitterness I had for that game….!

My Lil Sis and I after the Big/Lil Reveal!! Yes, this is the infamous Southern Sunshine. I love my Lil :)

RING CHING!
